Difficult process for the censorship of this movies that is first authorized with an age restriction for children under 16 years and then banned at appeal, due to the numerous protests by individuals and associations. The decision is considered as unlawful and therefore cancelled by the State Council, to which the production company had appealed. A new edition of 1963, presented with a number of changes to both the dialogues and the editing, is authorized for public projection with the restriction of screening for children under 18 years. Only the Third Edition, for television broadcasting, is declared for all, after deep changes made by the distributor.
