The Review Committee expressed a negative opinion to grant the authorization because of the exasperated eroticism "which was considered to be detrimental to good habits". The Appeal Committee, by a majority, granted the authorization provided that children 18 and younger would be restricted from viewing and the cut of numerous scenes.
