The Review Committee refuses to authorize the public screening of the film, considering the subject matter to be an incentive to class hatred and viewing the decision to set the film in a Swiss college damaging to good relations with this “friendly country”. The second instance Review Committee accepts an appeal against this decision and issues a regular censorship certificate for the new version presented with some modifications and cuts, provided that viewing is forbidden to minors under the age of 16 and that some further changes are carried out.
