Finding "serious elements of indecency", the Auditing Commission expressed a majority opinion contrary to the public screening. The Appeal Board, after removal of four scenes authorized the public screening with a R-18 rating. Once released in theatres, the film is seized by the public prosecutor of Rome and three scenes are suppressed by the prosecutor of Catania. The second edition of 1993 purged of 18 sequences for a total of 478 m, will limit the age restriction to children under 14 years.
