The film was initially rejected for indecency and resubmitted on appeal with numerous cuts; the Auditing Commission, after assessing the changes made to the new copy, allowed the release of the authorization provided that the film is rated PG-18. Only the Second Edition of 2009, in view of the changes, is authorized without any age limit. In the attached video, you can see the film cuts made to the first edition of the film and preserved by the Cineteca Nazionale (Rome).
