The Review Committee issue the authorization, provided that the film is prohibited to minors under 16 and two scenes are eliminated. The production company accept the demands of the Committee members and change some dialogue lines. On the Second Edition, the prohibition is removed. In the attached video you can see the film cut preserved by the Cineteca Nazionale (Rome).
