The film obtained the authorization for public programming, provided that two cuts would be made, and that children 18 and younger would be restricted from viewing; the decision taken by the Committee was motivated by the presence of numerous scenes of eroticism, violence and "for the language often on the verge of obscenity". The II Edition, presented with cuts for a total of 169 meters, obtained a reduction of the age restriction to children 14 and under.
