The Review Committee do not grant the issuance of the authorization, “motivated by the fact that the film is nothing but a series of obscenities and vulgarities”. The appeal request is ineffective. The authorization to screening and export is again denied on the Second Edition, which is presented with the new title, “Un cadavere a spasso” (“A walking corpse”), and numerous cuts. Only on appeal the film is authorized to screening, but it is still prohibited to minors under 18; the title is changed to “Strana notte al Grand Hotel” (“Strange night at the Grand Hotel”).
