The Review Committee authorize the public programming of the film, after some scenes in the fourth rollfilm have been cut. By order of the General Directorate of Public Security, the film screening is suspended in Naples, since it was screened before the issuance of the authorization. The procedure to obtain the authorization for export is complex, and the Committee deny the issuance. The film is released on the US territory with the fake title “Incontri della fatalità” (“Fate meetings”). In 1950, a new edition containing numerous changes and titled “Verso la vita” (“Towards Life”) is authorized to be exported, but the Ministry of Foreign Trade order that new sales contracts must not be signed at the same time.
