The Committee authorize the film public programming, prohibiting it to minors under 16, as “the story, inspired by La Dolce Vita but reconsidered from a satirical point of view, is in itself inadequate to minors”; the issuance of the authorization depends also on the producer’s commitment to make some cuts to scenes and dialogues, as indicated in the minutes. The distribution of unauthorized copies non-compliant with the provisions of the Directorate of Performing Arts is reported by numerous Public Security Authorities. On the Second edition, presented with a very short cut, the age limit is revoked.
