The first request for the authorization of the short film’s reboot in 1946 made by the Luce Institute a few years before, was rejected because “it showed fly exterminating equipment currently no longer existing in various Italian municipalities”. Later, the Presidency of the Ministers’s Council announces to grant the authorization provided that the line "autarchy in act" and "the last scene filmed at the Stadium of Marbles" are removed.
