Interview to Suso Cecchi D’Amico about the film “Rocco and his brothers”

Suso Cecchi D'Amico, co-author of the subject and screenwriter of Luchino Visconti’s film “Rocco and his brothers” (1960), speaks about the famous scene of Nadia’s rape (played by Annie Girardot), censured by the Committee, and how the subject was censored during the pre-reading of the scripts. The records are taken from two programmes “Tagliando, tagliando...” (“Cutting, cutting ...”) by Paola Migliorino, broadcast on 30 April 1984, and “Prometeo - La cultura alla sbarra” (“Prometheus - The Culture at the Bar”), edited by Maria Pia Ammirati, based on an idea by Luigi di Majo, broadcast on 3 December 1996.
