The movie gained the authorization for public screening, provided that children 18 and younger would be restricted from viewing, because of its incestuous theme. The movie was confiscated and accused of indecency. The Rome Prosecutor ordered the release of the film, after eliminating two scenes. The 2nd Edition gained a reduction of the age restriction to children 14 and younger.
