The film is granted the issuance of the authorization, after a scene is eliminated, but it is prohibited to minors under 16. The Production Company appeal against this decision and the director also sends a letter asking that his film be widespread “especially among the young people, who should be educated with the courage of those who are not afraid to show evil, so that it can be recognized and avoided”. The Appeal Committee reject the request, confirming, in fact, the First Instance judgement. The Second edition, presented more than forty years later with very few changes for television broadcast, is declared appropriate for everyone.
