A political documentary the circulation of which on Italian territory is prohibited by the Anglo-American Commission of the P.W.B. (Psychological Warfare Branch) in January 1945. This verdict is confirmed six months later, by the 1st instance Review Committee, which states that the film is merely an offence to the “moral prestige and dignity of the Italian people”. It is only in July 1952 that the Italian Council of State issues its verdict, declaring that the appeal against this decision has by now expired.
